The Senior Property Project Manager is responsible for delivery of all the property related activities within the Property Workstream of the Seismic Remediation programme, for one of our key sites. Working at the Te Tari Taiwhenua | Department of Internal Affairs, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of New Zealanders. Workplace Services sits within Organisational Capability and Services, a branch dedicated to supporting the rest of the Department to succeed by providing corporate services that help business groups and people within DIA to make the best contribution to New Zealand.

Working as a workstream lead in project team, this role will interact regularly with internal and external advisors and project stakeholders, ensuring the Property Workstream meets the objectives and delivers the outcomes on time, within budget, to the agreed scope, and can realise the identified benefits. You will have a background in property, ideally with commercial experience supported by proven experience in: Managing and delivering complex property works projects or programmes and leading teams. Project management assignments in property or construction with a track record of delivering multiple, complex projects on time, to specification and within budget.

Management of, or, having worked in seismic related projects will be highly advantageous. Proven experience in senior project management role - driving a project, creating momentum and ensuring delivery of requirements, ideally with some experience in the public service arena. Proven ability to perform effectively in complex projects and managing complex stakeholders (internal and external).
