Your responsibilities will include maintaining farmlet studies and field trials, collecting, processing, and organizing on-farm samples, and assisting in the preparation of reports and publications. Ko koe tnei - About you We need a skilled communicator with a proven track record in accurately collecting experimental data, particularly in regenerative agricultural practices and diverse pasture field experimentation. You should possess a deep understanding of grazing management practices for both cattle and sheep, along with expertise in implementing feed budgeting principles and practices.
Requirements: A relevant tertiary qualification aligned with the science underpinning the Whenua Haumanu Programme (e.g., Bachelor's degree in Agricultural, Horticultural, or Animal Science) OR a demonstrated track record in high-level field research experience and expertise Strong organisational skills and a history of managing and maintaining modern research equipment Knowledgeable about laboratory and fieldwork safety practices Ability to maintain stocks of field and laboratory materials and contribute to larger purchasing decisions Proven ability to liaise effectively with internal contacts and suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness If you're ready to play a key role in groundbreaking agricultural research, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
