Our Information Technology (IT) Unit focuses on the delivery of world-class solutions that ultimately have a positive impact on the lives of everyone in Christchurch. We are seeking a dynamic individual with proven technical skills to take on the critical role of Senior Software Engineer for our Business Intelligence Team You will work alongside the BI Architect, Principal Software Engineer, BI Analysts, DW Specialists and solution architects to provide technical solution design and software development for new and existing solutions.

You will enjoy working hands-on with data warehouse development, ETL, SAP BW, cloud solutions, and will be able to provide technical leadership and guidance to the team. To be successful in this position you will utilise both technical and leadership skills to: Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement working within an agile methodology Be experienced in enterprise data warehousing ETL using the Microsoft stack (SSMS, SSIS), SQL and Kimball data modelling techniques Build expertise in cloud BI solutions using the Azure Portal including Data Lakes and Data Bricks Build expertise in in SAP's Business Intelligence solutions including SAP HANA Studio, BW4HANA, and SAP BW Modelling Providing Technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to other members of the Business Intelligence team. Our landscape here includes core applications such as SAP S4HANA, SAP C4C and GIS along with various SaaS and line of business solutions.
