About the opportunity We are recruiting for a Shift Manager to join our Beverages Plant in Takanini where you will lead, motivate and inspire a high performing team- made up of a Team Lead and x14 Process Operators.
Reporting to the Beverages Senior Process Manager, you will play a pivotal role in safely and efficiency, delivering high quality products in line with the daily production schedule and continuously improve the capability of the team. You will be an accomplished leader with a thorough understanding of business goals and the capability to translate these to their teams in the form of direction setting. Additionally, you will ensure Total Equipment Ownership (TEO) amongst the team and utilise current best approach (CBA) standards to achieve this.
This role works on a day shift pattern of a 3-2-2, working 5am-5pm, offering an excellent work life balance. About you We are looking for a passionate leader who has an ability to relate to a diverse team and capability to perform efficiently in a face paced, high-pressure environment.
You will be a result driven individual who has great problem solving and organisational skills. We want to hear from you if you have: Experience and understanding of manufacturing or supply chain, ideally FMGC Excellent leadership, coaching and mentoring capability Proven experience in Health and Safety leadership Strong relationship and stakeholder management with an ability to engage and communicate with a wide range of audiences, both written and orally Tech savvy and computer skills Previous continuous improvements experience with such tools as 5S, 6-sigma, RCO would be beneficial, but not required.
