Te mea angitu kei a tatou: The opportunity we have Our Network Services team is responsible for maintaining 4,000 kilometres of rail corridor, bridges, tunnels, viaducts, overhead wires, signals, and level crossings. KiwiRail's network is vast and complex, representing the challenging geographic features within the natural New Zealand landscape - we need experts with specialised skills to keep us in front. We are on the lookout for a Signals Technician to join the team.

You will be responsible for ensuring effective, reliable, and efficient operations of all signalling assets. This will include maintenance, installation, restoration, and repair under the supervision of the Leading Hand Signals Technician. With multiple signalled crossings on our network this role is challenging, fast paced and in an environment where using initiative and problem solving is celebrated.

New Zealand Electrical Registration as an electrician. Industrial electrical background/Mechanical aptitude is preferable.

A strong keenness to be in the electrical industry. Keen to take on further training and develop a career with KiwiRail. Proven team player.
