Join our pioneering team and launch your career to new heights ABOUT SPACE SYSTEMS AT ROCKET LAB: Rocket Lab's Space Systems team is responsible for every satellite and satellite component made by Rocket Lab: from complete satellites destined for missions to the Moon and Mars, to the individual components and subsystems that make up a satellite like solar panels, flight software, reaction wheels and star trackers, separation systems, radios, and more.

Our Space Systems team is made up of engineers, technicians, and designers who design, create, and put together our own satellites for missions across the commercial, government, and defence sectors, or who build and assemble satellite hardware and software that supports other satellite missions. WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO: Rocket Lab has a geographically disperse team with distributed areas of expertise that are required to work together efficiently on the delivery of key programs. Strategic growth for the company is currently focussed on the expansion of the Space Systems division and with that, multiple Spacecraft and Space Operations opportunities.

Successful execution of these opportunities requires a proven project manager to coordinate technical delivery in NZ across functional work streams, manage on time delivery on behalf of space systems, and ensure appropriate resourcing. This role will be required to wear many hats and take a hands-on/direct approach to managing projects through from concept through to delivery. The role also comes with a requirement for direct interface with internal and external stakeholders across NZ and the USA, therefore, maintenance and growth of relationships is critical to success.
