We are currently on the hunt for two Support Technicians to join our Information Network Operations Centre/Communications Centre (INOC/COMCEN) team in our Service Management Unit.
These roles will be on a 24/7/365 roster so the ability to work shifts is required. Responsibilities of the role will include: Monitoring cryptographic equipment and systems at remote sites for correct operation and potential outages Monitoring GCSB and partner data flow connections, taking diagnostic/corrective action as necessary Processing NZSIS Intelligence reporting Transmission and receipt of messages for various departments Providing the first point of contact for any IT helpdesk related queries outside normal working hours Customer liaison and coordination with internal and external Agencies What you will bring Ideally you will have exceptional problem solving skills, have top-notch communication skills and a results-oriented mind-set with a desire to never stop learning You will also have: Demonstrated experience in system administration of either Windows or Linux-based systems Knowledge of system security An understanding of Local Area and Wide Area network operation and maintenance We offer comprehensive benefits, flexibility and work-life balance.
