Team Member (PART-TIME) - Mitre 10 MEGA Silverdale As the biggest home improvement retailer, and a trade partner of choice, life at Mitre 10 is fast paced and offers huge scope. Since Riviera Hardware Holdings inception in 2009, where we started out with a small local Mitre 10 store in Warkworth, we have grown to be the largest group of stores within the Mitre 10 national network.

We are proud to offer our customers a shopping experience like no other in New Zealand's largest hardware retail store; Mitre 10 MEGA Albany as well as New Lynn, Warkworth, Whangaparoa and Silverdale, boast Columbus Coffee shops. We also have a Distribution Centre and own our own Frame and Truss Manufacturing Plant. We are currently recruiting in the following areas: Front End (including checkouts (process transactions including cash, eftpos, credit cards and gift vouchers) and customer services (refunds, exchanges, returns, faulty goods repair, special orders, click and collect and home delivery.

Seasonal (heating and cooling products, outdoor furniture, barbeques, camping and related accessories). Tools / Hardware (Hand tools, Powertools, Fixings, Fastenings, Automotive) Paint (colour choices and finishes, mixes stains, paints, and other coatings) Gardens (external gardens, garden dcor and pots, garden hardware ranging from wheelbarrow's to ride-on mowers, fertilizers and pest control) The below fixed (no changes/as-is) shift patterns are currently available (in your cover letter and/or application please state which roster pattern you are wanting to be considered for): Sunday only - 6 hours (12:30-19:00) Friday AND Saturday -16 hours (07:00-15:30) Sunday AND Monday - 16 hours (10:30-19:00) Friday (08:30-19:00) AND Saturday (10:30-19:00) - 19 hours Monday AND Friday (08:30-17:00) AND Sunday (10:30-19:00) - 24 hours The duties of these roles: Provide information on products, across features & benefits and price ranges. Answer questions and queries from customers and make recommendations where appropriate.

Replenish stock, ensuring appropriate and attractive presentation in all merchandise displays, including correct ticketing and location, to maximize sales potential. Our ideal applicant: Stock integrity awareness and merchandising standards (preferred). Physically fit and capable with no restrictions on lifting or handling (preferred).

Previous cash handling experience (preferred) Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work on own initiative. Strong multi-tasking ability.
