Technical Support Officer Regulatory - Full time Permanent 40 hours per week Buller District Council is seeking a driven, enthusiastic, team focused person to join their Regulatory Services department, as a Technical Support Officer Regulatory. This position provides a diverse range of responsibilities that will enable you to bring your interpersonal and problem-solving skills to work with you every day. What will you do? The successful candidate will carry out the administrative functions for Liquor Licensing pursuant to the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
You will provide professional and coordinated technical advice to all customers by ensuring Alcohol Licenses are processed and issued as per the requirements under the Act. Administration functions for building team which relates to accurate record keeping of the consenting process and various other related internal processes including invoicing. Similarly with the Alcohol and Building functions, administration of the registered food premises under the Food Act 2014.

You may have previous experience in a regulatory, compliance or enforcement role. Interacting with the general public will come with ease and you will strive on delivering excellent customer service.
