About the role As the Technical Territory Sales Manager (TTSM) - In Store Baking & Ingredients you will manage and drive sales, conduct training and projects in conjunction with technical baking support across Route Foodservice, Retail and Industrial channels. While the role is Auckland based, the territory covers from South Auckland to Kaitaia, so out of town travel will be required. You will: Liaise with customers across Route Foodservice and Retail stores in an agreed call cycle covering the Auckland and Northland region.
Maximise sales and expand market share along with building relationships with both new and existing customers. Grow and increase market presence across Auckland & Northland. Expand your product knowledge of our extensive brand and ranges to effectively increase market share within the Bakery Channel.
With a background in baking, you will use your expertise to provide hands on technical training & troubleshooting across our varied customer base. Contribute to range extensions and New Product ideas by keeping abreast of current market trends (locally and internationally). Demonstrate understanding of financial levers (including Trade Maths/trade marketing) and how they impact P&L.
Utilise trend and account data to track performance and identify drivers. Understand customers short / long term priorities, and manage differences in negotiations smoothly without compromising relationships. What we are looking for: Qualified Baker Level 4 or NZ recognised equivalent.
Experience in a customer facing sales role - including business development. Experience in training team members including internal & external parties. Knowledge of FMCG industry Experience of Health & Safety practices within the industry.
