M te Tranga | About the role: As a Senior Software Engineer in the Remediation & Wealth Tribe, you'll be part of our Tech Wealth squad that supports the systems that run our Wealth services, including KiwiSaver. We triage, problem-solve, enhance and maintain the systems and the processes they support. You'll have the opportunity to get hands-on with some interesting and complex pieces of work that integrate on an enterprise scale, all while being part of a smaller squad that makes their own decisions about how to work through prioritisation - so your voice will be heard, and your opinions valued.

Being part of the Engineering Practice at ASB we encourage our teams to work autonomously in an agile way while actively growing their skills and expertise to continuously improve outcomes for our customers. We advocate agile, fully cross functional teams which will take you through all facets of engineering in any given day. We are looking for a mix of technical skills to support the following activities: Reviewing requirements and specifications Coming up with agile testing strategies and plans Verifying and validating functionality being developed(manual testing) Writing automated tests Analysing and reporting test results Working with key stakeholders for testing end to end pkenga | About you: Your primary responsibility will be to manually test the KiwiSaver and other Managed Funds products in addition to maintaining or extending test automation solutions built with an object-oriented programming language for Desktop applications or (Web and APIs) integrated in CI/CD pipelines.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn the mechanisms of KiwiSaver and other Managed Funds, which is a strong performer in the industry. You will build up knowledge of the Managed Funds products, especially KiwiSaver, and become a go-to person on the understanding of KiwiSaver and other Managed Funds products and maintaining the Automation framework for the team. We are looking for an individual that will take ownership of our supported product quality, drive continuous change for the squad and customers to ensure we are delivering best possible outcomes.

You will work collaboratively with our squads and stakeholders to be the voice of Testing and deliver products that delight our customers. We are looking for someone who has: 5 to 7 years of test engineering experience with both Manual and Test Automation experience Experience in E2E testing of Enterprise level application.
