Team Leader- Timetabling Ng prkau | Our Story Established in 1970, Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT) (Te Whare Takiura o Manukau) has been serving konga, students and the communities of South Auckland for over fifty years. MIT is a Business Division of Te Pkenga, bringing together on-the-job, campus and online vocational education. Together with 16 Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics and 9 Industry Training Organisation our purpose is learning with purpose helping New Zealand move to a vocational education system that puts konga, learners in the centre.
We are on a journey and this role is crucial to that journey. E p ana ki te tranga - About the role: Collaborating with our Academic team to build future institute timetables with Student experience at the forefront of mind at all times Analysing the best use of MIT's spaces and resources to ensure they are being used as effectively as possible Creating and maintaining reports and managing the integrity of the data in the timetabling system. Mu te take- E uiga ia te oe- About you: You are someone who Has an analytical mindset, is meticulous and likes to focus on the detail Relational and builds an easy rapport with others Enjoys a collaborative team environment Brings an energetic approach and innovation to challenge the status quos And ultimately, wants to have a fun and enjoyable work environment Preference will be given to candidates with strong Excel knowledge.
Timetabling experience in Tertiary sector would be excellent but not a deal breaker, we can help with that.
