All about the job Porirua City has an abundance of walkways, tracks, mountain bike trails and green spaces right on our doorstep. You will be part of the team that maintains these spaces which includes vegetation control and maintenance of structures, e.g.

timber steps, hand rails, drainage channels and track surface. In this role you will: Carry out scheduled maintenance of our track network Prepare, plant and maintain revegetation areas All about you This role will utilise your machinery and small plant expertise and your eye for detail. It would be fabulous if you are self-motivated individual who has a passion for the outdoors.

You'll need to show us that you: enjoy working outside and doing a hard day's work. you have a clean full driver's licence (Class 2 preferred), can work to a schedule and meet deadlines have some small plant experience - e.g.

weed eater, power barrow, petrol hedger, chainsaw have general building or DIY skills and have the ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
