Exceptional sales role with large scale for career growth Dulux NZ are currently 1 in volume in decorative sales in NZ Competitive Salary Bonus Health and Life Insurance About the Role This full-time permanent position as a Trade Sales Representative for Dulux Paints is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a energetic, hardworking individual to join our Wellington based, Trade Sales Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants a fresh start in a new career and is motivated and driven for success or someone who has previous experience and is looking to join an industry leader. You will manage a portfolio of clients from Levin down to Wellington City, with your key focus to be growing and maintaining the existing Dulux customer base.

Primarily you will be responsible for our Trade Painters through multiple sectors within construction, however there will be opportunity for you to grow your customer base with out of the box thinking. Much of your day can be spent out in the field, but this is a highly autonomous role, so professionalism & a high level of communication are skills you possess. When not out and about youll be planning for the days ahead - booking sales meetings, reviewing sales reports, and developing individual gap plans to identify growth opportunities in a structured and targeted manner.

Skills & Experience To be successful in this role you will have a passion for exceeding customer expectations and a natural talent for developing relationships. You will be motivated by chasing and closing a sale and ideally will have experience with: B2B sales, including cold calling and new client generation A background in paint will be highly advantageous Strong communications skills and commercial acumen Trade-related industry knowledge is desirable but not essential.
