Monday - Friday New builds Service and Maintenance Heavy Fabrication Experience required Your new company Heavy transport engineers specialising in the design, manufacture, repair and servicing of truck trailers and bodies. They are a growing family business across three sites in Auckland and are a major player in the NZ road transport industry. They are looking for a fitter / welder who is mechanically minded and has 5 years' experience in heavy fabrication.
What you'll need to succeed Be a qualified Fitter/Welder with 5 years experience minimum in heavy fabrication Full Class 1 Licence (Class 5 would be preferred) Be able to read and interpret technical drawings Advanced knowledge of all equipment and tooling Can follow instructions and work autonomously Carry out a wide range of repairs to a high standard Offer technical advice to support the team What you'll get in return $30ph - $35ph (depending on experience) 40 hours Monday to Friday (Saturdays optional) Health insurance after 6 months Long-term service rewards Quarterly social functions What you need to do now You must have NZ residency to apply - Overseas applications will be rejected If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' or contact Billie at hays.net.nzIf this job isn't quite for you, but you are interested in hearing about new opportunities, feel free to contact us.
