Job Title VisionPlus Technical Analyst What does a successful VisionPlus Technical Analyst do at Fiserv? As a Vision PLUS SME, you will be expected to assist in the analysis and design, as well as the development, documentation and implementation of new features or new information processing systems in support of the direction set by corporate management, under the guidance of senior technical staff.

You will be expected to provide technical assistance to Vision PLUS Services employees where requested. You will be expected to be an expert in aspects of the Vision PLUS product line and mainframe platform, with the aim of growing the breadth of these skills with experience. You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of business systems issues as well as demonstrate superior competency of systems analysis and programming.

This opportunity sits within our onsite team, fulltime at our client's Auckland CBD headquarters. Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 NZD Please note - At this point in time, we are only able to consider candidates that are currently in NZ with existing work rights. What you will do: - This role will also include being part of a 24x7 on-call production support roster - Supporting existing business systems applications and provide support to the technical leaders of projects - Completing development and projects in accordance with project requirements and internal and external client expectations and established standards - Work on complex projects and issues within functional/technical area under guidance of senior technical staff - Knowledge transfer to team members and client, as well as creating quality technical documentation - Participate in all aspects of service delivery and project achievements - Adhere to the client requirements and strict SLA's - Will be involved in all aspects of the development cycle - Strive to provide system continuous improvements What you will need to have: - Proven technical skills with Vision PLUS with "hands-on" development experience - Expert knowledge in COBOL and mainframe tools - Excellent communication skills - Deep understanding of application development across all aspects of development cycle - Experience and understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies What would be great to have: - Appreciation of how technology relates to business, market, and industry - Passion and awareness of emerging technologies - Proven client facing experience The perks: In return you'll rec.
