Our Auckland base client is looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team and support the day-to-day running and operations of the business. Minimum 30 hours gurenteed. This is a key role within the business with a varied range of duties however, the key Responsibilities include: Fabricating various security products - we are looking for someone with the skills and initiative to complete design and fabrication to the All Steel Security quality and standard.

Development and design of new products - our ideal candidate will have plenty of initiative and drive, as well as input into development, continuous improvement and 'best practice' ways-of-working. Site work relating to projects and installation of products, customer facing Problem solving, both in the workshop and during installs The successful candidate will: Have at least 2 years minimum in mild steel engineering and fabrication. Be competent in Mild steel Mig (gas and gasless) welding fabrication skills Aluminium, stainless steel Tig welding skills are an advantage but not essential.

Be a safe operator of all standard workshop machinery (drill press, bandsaw, lathe, plasma cutter, etc.). Demonstrate the ability and desire to work within a team as well as individually with minimum supervision.

Be a great team player with a positive attitude and show a willingness to learn and share knowledge. Have excellent time management skills and be able to meet set targets. A good command of the English language is essential.
