Fixed Term - 3 years, Full-time 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE) Are you looking for a job helping support Whnau impacted by neurodiversity with what matters to them? Do you have an ability to think outside the box, to come up with creative solutions to break down barriers and improve the quality of life of the people we work with? An exciting new pilot is being set up in Hawke's bay. The purpose of this 3 year pilot is to support tamariki and rangatahi living with neurodiveristy along with their whnau.
You will join a small team who will be well supported by Te Ara Manapou and Te Kunenga Mai Rongokako (the Child development service). Whitau Ohkune offers the opportunity to work with a small caseload of clients in an intensive strength based approach. Knowledge and passion of working with complex families is a must as is a resilience in your professional practice.
If you are a health practitioner with a current APC and are keen to make a difference to tamariki impacted by neuro behavioural disorders then this is the job for you. You will support a small team of people who will spend their day helping whnau navigate all the challenges they face. You will also have responsibility to work on system changes in a cross sector arena to find ways to allow ease of access to services and aid the breaking down silos.
This position is Monday to Friday between 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
