We have a range of accommodation and tourism options, a nursery, activities on our doorstep, farm-raised meat, a veggie garden and some chickens running around.
For this work exchange, roughly 12 hours a week (minimum hours) housekeeping work covers accommodation, usually round 3 hours a day over 4 days a week. The difference is paid out. The cabin is a shared facilities cabin with one other person of the same gender (or if you're a couple you can share the cabin together).
These hours are estimates, and may vary due to your personal tax obligations. On busier days there is the possibility of more work however this is not guaranteed.If you have experience in housekeeping or other creative talents do let us know We love to keep improving the Barn and bringing fresh ideas to the space.
We really are looking for the right people who really want to be here. The Barn is iconic and an experience for guests, and our staff play an integral role in that. So it is important to be really sure this is right for you and youre not just looking for a "job" to fill time.
The work includes housekeeping, keeping the Barn tidy with odd jobs around the place. No experience required, just being keen to jump in and work with our awesome team to make the Barn look beautiful. A good eye for detail, being able to take initiative and experience working with a team helps We are looking for people that can stay for a minimum of 6 weeks, longer is welcomed too.
