He angittanga | About the role As our Works Officer, you will manage a variety of construction projects, ranging from visitor experience improvement work, high priority treaty partner projects, safety related work and asset replacements. You will work as part of a small team to successfully deliver projects to planned scope, time, and budget. The position will be focused on: managing projects: procurement, consultant management, consents, tendering, and construction contracts maintaining project documentation, team, and governance reporting using the Department's Project Management Framework for all project deliverables, including business case development and reporting adhering to best practices in procurement, tender, contract, and supplier management.
This is a full-time two year fixed-term role supporting construction projects across the Southern South Island Region and will require some regional travel.
