Job Description Pouto Topu A Trust is looking for a passionate 2IC to join their team on their 640 Cow farm. Supportive forward-thinking owners. Owners are wanting to preserve the land with long-term sustainability.
High quality housing and infrastructure Opuna Farm is 280ha milking 640 cows through a 60bale rotary shed. The Farm is spring calving with a Planned Start of Calving (PSC) of 20th June. There is a support block for grazing of young stock, beef calves are reared to be sent to the Sheep and Beef block.
As an integral team member to the Trust, you will share its values and bring a number of great qualities, including: Knowledge of farms systems, and the ability to lead the team and farm when required. Easy and proactive communication. Ability to measure, manage, collect and report the critical data that links to farm performance and compliance with an attention to detail and competency in farm technology.
