Nau mai haere mai ki t mtou whnau |Welcome to our Fulton Hogan Family As the 3 Waters Operations & Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for the leadership and management of the 3 Waters Network Maintenance Contracts.

You will ensure that all contract outcomes are met/exceeded and strong relationships are maintained with the client and stakeholders throughout the contract term. In a ddition to the above you will: Develop annual budgets and work programmes for the contract and ensure they are delivered within agreed contract timeframes, standards and KPIs. Develop, maintain and lead an outstanding safety, environmental and quality culture in the 3 Waters team.

Ensure staff are trained appropriately to undertake all work safely and competently. Build and maintain honest and collaborative relationships with our client, all stakeholder groups and suppliers. Assist our client with performance analysis of their 3 Waters assets with a view to improving asset service performance, reducing through life asset costs.

Assisting our client with preparation of service delivery plans and programs as requested. Ensure contract reports and claims are comprehensive, accurate and delivered on time. Participating in national water discussions and sharing local experiences with the wider FH water teams and assisting in national studies/initiatives as required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships. Strong understanding of NZ health and safety and environmental standards and regulations.

Strong commercial and budget management skills with a good understanding of a profit and loss reporting and work in progress accounting. Strong understanding of water assets/systems and their functions including performance envelopes. Familiarity with Asset Management Systems (preferably Maximo, Infor or similar) and geospatial tools (preferably ArcGIS) Thorough understanding of water industry risks and safety procedures (working at heights, contamination risks, confined spaces, permits, working around water etc).
