Introduction About the Role As a 3D Modeler & Detailer, you will use Tekla Structures to produce accurate 3D models and detailed construction drawings for reinforced concrete and precast structures. Youll collaborate with internal teams, including sales, manufacturing, and project managers, as well as external consultants and clients, to ensure deliverables meet high standards and project deadlines. Your work will drive customer satisfaction and support Steel & Tubes growth in the reinforcing market.
Description This role involves preparing 3D reinforcing models in Tekla, bar bending schedules with ASA, prefabrication drawings and mark-up plans to support workshop and steel fixers on site. Youll proactively identify and resolve drawing conflicts, raise RFIs, and maintain strong customer relationships to support project success. Additionally, youll contribute to a One Company culture, aligning with national strategies to maximise efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities Develop 3D models and detailed drawings using Tekla for reinforced concrete and precast structures. Create bar bending schedules on ASA Produce prefabrication drawings and mark-up plans for site Review project documents to identify and resolve conflicts or missing information. The opportunity to support QS/Estimating activities on projects Collaborate with manufacturing, project teams, and clients to ensure quality and accuracy.
Support sales and tender processes by addressing customer needs and preparing RFIs. Uphold health, safety, and quality standards, aligning with Steel & Tubes policies. About You You bring extensive experience in reinforcing detailing and a strong knowledge of Tekla Structures, with the ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Knowledge of ASA rebar package is added value. Your analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills enable you to deliver precise work under tight deadlines. A team player with excellent communication skills, you thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to customer satisfaction.
