Te whiwhinga mahi: The opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team on a permanent part-time basis. We are looking for someone who is motivated, reliable and has a positive personality. You will be a self-starter with high levels of determination to get the job done right and be able to learn processes quickly while reviewing and improving processes for efficiency.
Being a team player is a must as you may need to muck in and help others when required but you will also get lots of support from the finance team. Key responsibilities include processing supplier invoices, timely and accurate preparation of creditor payments, maintaining accurate data in the finance system, reconciliation and coding of other expense transactions and provided other ad-hoc support to the finance team. He krero mu: About you Previous experience in an accounts payable role, working in an accounting or financial environment. Experience in large volume processing. Ability to carry out expense analysis, financial reconciliations.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel. Excellent communication skills.
