Employing over 1200 staff in 11 locations across New Zealand, C3 Limited is a market leader in New Zealands port related product and cargo handling, adding value to our clients businesses by providing solutions to their transport and logistics needs. Based on the port at Mount Maunganui this role will support both our Mount Logs and Mount Stevedoring business units. We are looking for an experienced administrator, who is keen to learn new skills, while providing support with various administrative functions.

Our business is involved with the logistics and shipping industries, so you will need to be comfortable working in a Port environment that is constantly changing. This is a diverse role in a fast-paced environment which operates 24/7. The role will manage administrative functions and support the management team, with duties ranging from data entry, processing purchase orders and invoicing using our Finance system (Techone) to assisting with payroll as well as ordering supplies including PPE gear.

This is a salaried role covering 40 hours per week, normally Monday to Friday. To be successful in this role you will need to be well organised, with an ability to prioritise and deal with multiple tasks, while maintaining high levels of accuracy and a sense of humour. You will enjoy responsibility and be proactive and use your experience to ensure the smooth running of the office.

Essential requirements for the position are: Proven administration experience in a busy environment A team player who has a positive & proactive attitude Strong attention to detail and accuracy Well organised and methodical Strong multi-tasking abilities and can keep calm under pressure High calibre computer skills and ability to quickly learn new computer programmes Preferably some experience with invoicing, finance and payroll functions Full class 1 Drivers licence as some use of company vehicle required If you meet the criteria mentioned and are keen to join our team, we would like to hear from you.
