Alfriston Road Kindergarten, Manurewa Full Time Teacher Job Code: TEALFRD515 Full Time position (40 hours per week) in an established and well-resourced 40 licensed Kindergarten in the Manurewa area. The Kindergarten operates full-day sessions (8.00am -5.

00pm). We are seeking an experienced, fully certificated, self-motivated, enthusiastic teacher, who has a passion for working in multicultural communities. Experience working in a mixed age setting with 2-5 year olds and a commitment to professional development and on-going learning.

We are looking for a Teacher who has a good understanding of inclusive planning, assessment and internal evaluation practices, with a positive approach towards teaching and learning. You will be welcomed into a passionate, fun team with strong connections to the community and as part of our team you will enjoy working closely with whnau and supporting active children from diverse backgrounds. We are looking for a teacher who is an effective communicator, who has a passion for building meaningful relationships with children and their families and who has a drive to provide learning opportunities that extend beyond the centre, out into the wider community.

We are looking for a teacher that is passionate, fun and believes in an innovative curriculum with the ability to embrace change and be part of our learning journey. You will also need to be a collaborative and positive team player, have integrity and display qualities of enthusiasm and reliability. Role requirements: B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification Good understanding of child led curriculum, planning and extending on our childrens learning Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard Demonstrates a strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with Tamariki, Whanau, teaching team and the wider community Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality education and care Benefits we offer to ensure your Health & Wellbeing: 6 weeks annual Leave Sick leave days available on commencement Free Annual Flu Vaccinations Supportive Coaching & Mentoring Programme Confidential counselling through EAP CMKA offers generous professional support, employment terms and conditions and professional learning and development opportunities.
