Hei kawe i ng mahi kia tutuki | This is us. Where making an impact matters . As an Analytics Engineer at Kiwibank, you'll be deeply embedded in shaping the future of data-driven decision-making.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves designing robust, scalable data models from the ground up and turning raw data into clean, business-ready analytics assets. You'll work closely with analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand complex data needs, and then build solutions that are not only technically sound but intuitive to use. You'll take ownership of the full data product lifecycle from modelling and optimisation to documentation and governance applying data warehousing best practices to ensure scalable, performant, and well-governed analytics solutions.

Where your expertise matters. For this role we are looking for someone with a strong and experienced skillset and w e would love to hear from you if you have experience in the following: Proven experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar roles. Advanced SQL skills and proficiency with Python, Git, and cloud data platforms (e.

g., Snowflake, dbt , AWS). Strong understanding of data modelling and integration principles, including dimensional modelling and ELT/ETL best practices.

Great communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts to non-technical audiences. A collaborative mindset and familiarity with agile ways of working. Experience in financial services is a bonus but not essential.
