Role overview: Were seeking a motivated individual to continue with their apprenticeship and become a qualified Automotive Technician.

This role combines practical workshop experience with formal training, offering the opportunity to grow into a skilled technician under the mentorship of industry professionals. Youll gain expertise in vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across a range of makes and models. Key responsibilities: Assist qualified technicians with vehicle servicing, repairs, and inspections Learn diagnostic techniques using modern tools and technology Perform basic mechanical tasks such as brake checks, oil changes, and tyre rotations Maintain a clean, safe workshop environment and adhere to health and safety protocols Complete off-site coursework and assessments as part of your apprenticeship Develop customer service skills by interacting with clients under supervision Key requirements: Preferred: Pre-trade training (e.

g., NZ Certificate in Automotive Engineering Level 2, 3 or similar) from a polytechnic or equivalent institution Strong basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and technical tasks Proven commitment to learning and completing long-term goals (e.g.
