We are seeking an enthusiastic professional with good planning and scheduling experience in engineering and construction, who can work as a consultant both independently and as part of a team. There is considerable opportunity for technical and professional growth and to gain experience in business development and networking.
There may be regular domestic travel involved depending on project locations, and you will often be co-located with clients in their offices or construction sites. Good planning and consulting is all about communication and curiosity. This role will suit an outgoing person with strong communication skills who will take initiative to seek out information (and prefer the phone to the keyboard).
We are looking for someone whos not just comfortable with the software, but eager to engage and help shape great outcomes for our clients. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: 5 to 8 years' experience in engineering/construction projects, with 3 to 5 years as a planner/scheduler. Competent user of Primavera P6 and MS Project essential.
Competency with other schedule tools including 4D tools like Synchro would be advantageous. Intermediate user of excel essential, preferably advanced level (Pivots and Power Query). Competency with Power BI, Power Apps or similar data management and reporting tools would be an advantage.
Experience in performing Schedule Risk Analysis and Montecarlo Risk Scenarios with risk modelling software like RISK would be advantageous. Ability to build out schedules from Level 3 to Level 5 in granularity. Able to develop and manage a construction schedule, including basis of schedule, productivity assessments, cost loading, resource loading and levelling, and baseline management.
Experience with NZ3190 and how it correlates to comprehensive program submissions, including assessment of EOT claims and coordination with the ETC. Competent in reviewing contractor tender schedules and preparing detailed reports on schedule quality. Able to prepare monthly reports including monitoring progress on site, tracking planned vs actual progress, identifying poten.
