This workshop is busy, fast-paced, and built on quality and theyre looking for someone who can hit the ground running. You'll be joining a top-tier team with access to the latest diagnostic equipment and factory training to keep your skills sharp and your career moving forward. What youll be responsible for: Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs across a range of late-model vehicles Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools Completing repair work to manufacturer standards and within allocated timeframes Working collaboratively with service advisors and workshop staff to ensure great customer outcomes Contributing to a safe, efficient, and professional workshop environment What were looking for: NZ Level 4 Automotive Technician qualification (or equivalent) Minimum of 5 years' experience in a dealership or workshop environment Confidence in using diagnostic equipment and interpreting fault codes Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Current clean NZ drivers licence Whats on offer: Permanent, full-time role 40 hours per week in a leading Christchurch dealership Competitive hourly rate of $37-$38 per hour overtime opportunities State-of-the-art workshop and diagnostic equipment Ongoing brand training and technical upskilling Supportive management and clear opportunities for advancement Be part of a team that values your input and experience Easy commute to work offering a work life balance more time with the family!
