Be an integral part of our Civil Services team and manage the complete process from the bid/no bid decision through to contract award, ensuring we submit compelling bids that meet our customers' needs. You will work closely with our estimators, bid writers, and technical experts to manage and deliver the entire bid. Coordinating multiple work streams and being able to communicate effectively to ensure a smooth bid process is essential.
You should have a broad understanding of construction methodologies, programming and commercial awareness. Recognising critical decisions and following our internal sign off process are important; this includes presenting information clearly to senior management. In addition to the above you will: Have a continuous improvement mindset and contribute towards developing internal tender processes Develop and maintain relationships with customers; Fulton Hogan business units, design and construction partners, and other industry participants.
Drive bid go/no-go decisions and all required reviews and approvals. Craft effective win strategies and ensure the end submission reflects these. Coordinate and deliver EOI, SIA, tender/proposal submissions.

Were looking for someone with: A tertiary engineering or related qualification. Minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience.
Experience in leading projects in construction delivery and/or in pre-contracts Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills. Sound commercial understanding in relation to civil infrastructure construction contracts. Practical knowledge of common procurement processes by government and private entities.
Knowledge of construction approaches, suppliers, subcontractors, design partners, and civil contractors in the New Zealand market.
