Description About the role Responsible for the coordination and administration of the billing contracts with the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) and Te Whatu Ora (Health New Zealand). To process, produce and communicate timely and accurate invoices in line with the company policies and agreed charges. This will include: Co-ordinating with various departments to ensure the smooth transition of paperwork relating to ARTP claims and subsequent surgery.
Ensuring invoices are issued according to the contract for core, non-core, co-payments and regulation procedures. Verifying charges in relation to other external contract providers e.g.
surgeons, anaesthetists and third-party providers. Liaising with surgeon administrators and practice managers with regards to ACC claims and status. Chasing up on outstanding debts in an efficient, effective and timely manner.
This is a permanent position for 80 hours per fortnight and is located at our Corporate Offices in Wellington. Skills And Experiences About you As the Billing and Accounts Coordinator, you will have a sound understanding of the billing cycle. You will also demonstrate and have the following skills and experiences: Previous experience with, or a sound understanding of, the billing cycles and processes would be beneficial Experience in webPas or similar Practice Management System is desired and an advantage for the role Business experience to understand contracts and apply to billing rules Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with regional teams, sub-contractors, and internal departments Methodical and process oriented Good numeracy skills Leading through our values We are a values-driven organisation.
