Our Auckland-based client is looking for a motivated and commercially savvy Business Development Manager to focus on generating new business opportunities. This is a new business development role with a strong emphasis on identifying and securing new client relationships. The consultancy offers expert services in analytics and data solutions, and experience in this industry would be a real advantage especially if you're familiar with how to communicate complex solutions to a senior audience. Experience in the data solutions industry is highly advantageous What youll be doing: Sourcing and developing new business across a B2B client base Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing Building strong relationships with management and C-level decision-makers Preparing compelling, tailored proposals and costings for service-based solutions Attending relevant networking events, conferences, and client meetings What were looking for: At least 5 years of experience in B2B services sales A background in selling professional services or software Experience in the data solutions industry is highly advantageous A proven ability to navigate complex sales processes and enterprise clients A proactive, self-starter who enjoys working independently and as part of a team Strong commercial awareness and confidence engaging with decision-makers Why this role?
