chubb.com. Your Role You will be responsible for managing the portfolio and driving profitable growth in the Casualty lines of business, specifically focusing on Life Sciences and Marine Services Liability in New Zealand.
This position allows for semi-autonomous operation to achieve the desired outcomes for the region. As you develop your technical skills and knowledge, you will gradually assume more autonomy, with the potential to expand your underwriting authority across all Casualty products. Your Responsibilities: Review, analyze, accept, or reject risks and renewals within the Casualty lines of business, adhering to your specialized underwriting authority.
Assist in the analysis and management of the Casualty portfolio using effective portfolio management systems. Maintain the Casualty portfolio by compiling necessary business reports. Provide expert advice and consultation to the underwriting manager in areas of specialized knowledge.
Engage with producers and clients to promote Chubb coverages, products, and services. Build and maintain relationships with producers to gather essential underwriting information, ensure satisfactory service, and encourage the submission of targeted business. Offer technical and underwriting support to the NZ Casualty Manager as needed.
