He whakamrama m te tranga mahi | About the role We're looking for a Change and Release Specialist to join our Digital team on a 6-month contract. In this role, you'll support the planning, coordination, and execution of digital system changes and releases across Watercare. Working alongside our Change and Release Manager, you'll play a key part in ensuring changes are delivered efficiently and securely, with minimal disruption to business operations.
You'll also help improve visibility and collaboration across squads, delivery leads, and vendors. Ng kawenga | Key responsibilities Coordinate the scheduling and execution of change and release activities across digital systems Ensure all processes, procedures and documentation for Change and Release Management are accurate and up to date Support end-to-end planning for deployments, working closely with internal teams and third-party vendors Provide clear, timely reporting on change and release activities, including analysis of high-impact or failed changes Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and provide on-call support on a rostered basis Identify and mitigate scheduling risks for changes to production environments Support continuous improvement in digital operations by identifying trends and recommending process enhancements Collaborate across delivery, operations, and vendor teams to ensure seamless and efficient release delivery Ng pkenga e rapu nei mtou | About you We're after someone with experience in Change and Release Management, a structured mindset, and excellent communication skills.
