Change Implementation Manager, Wellington Fixed Term Positions (to end of Dec 2025) Wellington Based Are you people centric? Are you passionate about change and supporting others through the change process? Every day, new initiatives and projects are being launched across Service Delivery and the wider Ministry of Social Development (MSD) so we can continue to make a difference for New Zealanders. The initiatives may impact how our people do their work, the processes they follow, their roles, the systems they use or their behaviours. The wellbeing and success of our people is important to us so how we support them through these changes will determine how successful the change is and how our people deliver services.

As a Change Implementation Manager, youll be responsible for; Planning and creating structured integrated change plans that ensure the right people and change activities are coordinated in a sequence that makes sense. Creating strong relationships involving all key stakeholders to ensure the needs of our people are met and there is a smooth transition for impacted stakeholders. Ensuring people who need to know about the change are engaged and communicated with and that the end goal is conveyed.

Leading necessary change activities that will support our people to accept, get ready and embed the change. Analysing the impacts from several perspectives to identify any gaps and understand what supports, connections, and resources are needed. Understanding what other changes are impacting our people across Service Delivery so as to provide an integrated approach.

You will be a part of a wider team that works together collaboratively to plan, deliver, and embed change. Position Description https://www.msd.
