Elecnor New Zealand Limited is seeking an experienced Civil Site Manager to oversee and manage all on-site civil activities on our Solar project in New Zealand. The Civil Site Manager will ensure the successful completion of the project in compliance with safety standards, quality control and project schedules. THE ROLE Oversee all civil engineering activities on-site, including site preparation, excavation, foundation works, drainage, and road construction. Manage and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site civil teams to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and in compliance with project specifications. Coordinate the daily operations of civil work, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Ensure effective communication between project teams, clients, and contractors to address issues, provide progress updates, and manage changes in scope. Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company safety policies, particularly in civil construction activities. Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments to promote a safe working environment and mitigate hazards.

Lead and enforce site-specific safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations related to civil construction work. Ensure all workers are properly trained and that PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safety protocols are in place for all civil tasks. Implement quality control measures to ensure the proper construction and performance of civil works, including foundations, roads, drainage, and structural elements.
