About the role: We are currently seeking an experienced class 5 driver to join our team in Waitoa. If you have a great work ethic and want to be part of a strong connected team, it might be time to give your career the Alexander Advantage. Monday - Friday day shift role.

Some weekend work may be required on an ad hoc basis. Shift times are approximately 1:00am to 1:00pm. Local shuttle deliveries around the Waikato.

Coupling / uncoupling of semi quad reefer trailers. The truck and trailers need to be well presented. There is an expectation that the fleet is well maintained and kept to a high standard of cleanliness.

You will be delivering refrigerated / temperature controlled food products to customer sites. Trailer interior cleaning is required to food regulatory standards. Ensure delivery timelines are met due the nature of the production requirements and customer time sensitivity.

For this role, you will: Have proven class 5 driving experience (preferably within refrigerated transport) Have a clean drivers licence. Experience with semi combinations. Be physically fit and willing to do manual work.

Be flexible, adaptable, and have a strong work ethic. Have a safety-first mindset and the ability to identify and minimise risks. Clean and tidy presentation and maintain high standards of hygiene.

Follow instructions well and complete jobs on time. Work well within a team. Have a good understanding of using tablet devices and an electronic logbook.
