Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Sales and Relationship Manager to join our team.

This pivotal role focuses on maintaining and expanding our client base, driving sales, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to align results and client feedback with strategic initiatives and goals. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty. Sales Growth: Drive sales by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and expanding market presence.

Opportunity Identification: Monitor market trends and client needs to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. Strategic Collaboration: Gather client feedback and work closely with estimating and resource teams to inform and drive strategic decisions. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends to the SI Operational Leadership Team and senior management.

Key Skills to be successful As an experienced Commercial Sales / Relationship Manager, you will have demonstrable success using structured sales techniques to increase revenue through new business development and growth across an existing customer base. At the same time you will seek, build and develop new relationships and revenue opportunities. Previous experience in the commercial construction field, dealing with construction plans, drafting technical proposals and understanding the relevant clauses / compliance requirements to NZBC would be advantageous so you can "hit the ground running".

Budget/target preparation and management is also a must. It will be important that you can demonstrate your drive for results, time management / planning skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people. Your high levels of attention to detail, outstanding commitment to deliver service excellence and your natural ability to lead a team will see you succeed in the role and potentially advancing into other parts of our business.

Business acumen, Strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and customer centricity is essential with a view to delivering "Truckloads" of value to both our business, and our customers ! Preferred Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales and relationship management, preferably within the construction sector.
