About you | Mu We're looking for an experienced communications professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently juggle multiple priorities. Youll have exceptional writing skills, a talent for storytelling, and a commitment to using plain language to connect with diverse audiences. You're comfortable working across multiple channels, particularly digital, and ideally bring some creative flairwhether its designing newsletters, creating video content, or producing materials to support regional campaigns.
Strong relationship management is key to this role. Youre someone who can build trust quicklyboth internally and in the communityand confidently manage reputational and brand risks as they arise. A full drivers licence is required, as travel across the region is part of the role.

About the role | M te tnga Reporting directly to the Regional Commissioner, you'll lead communications and engagement activities across the region. This includes media liaison, stakeholder engagement, and event coordination, as well as managing the regional response to information requests and publications.
Youll play a key role in maintaining our public image and ensuring our messaging is consistent, timely, and impactful. Youll be responsible for drafting and editing content quickly and accurately and will support regional campaigns and initiatives to boost community awareness and engagementparticularly through digital channels.
