Seeking a consultant gastroenterologist for a full time, permanent appointment in a busy regional general hospital (secondary care) in the scenic Bay of Plenty. Position Overview This secondary care hospital Gastroenterology service caters to the population of the Bay of Plenty Region with ambulatory outpatient clinics and endoscopy services at two sites, an acute inpatient service and an after-hours acute endoscopy service. The Gastroenterology team includes seven SMOs, advanced training registrar roles, nurse endoscopist and clinical nurse specialists.
