About the role As Contracts Manager, youll take the lead in managing and overseeing all transport-related contracts from consultancy to physical works ensuring performance aligns with contract expectations, standards, and safety requirements. You will: Ensure our contractors and consultants are delivering work that meets contractual obligations and high-quality standards. Lead the procurement of new transport contracts in line with the Transport Procurement Strategy and Council procurement policies.

Work closely with the Works Programme Manager to ensure planning and resources are aligned for success. Collaborate with the Roading and Drainage Engineer to maintain the quality, safety, and compliance of all physical works. About you Are you an experienced contracts professional with a passion for delivering high-quality transport infrastructure? Do you thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment where your expertise directly contributes to safer roads and better journeys for everyone? Were looking for a Contracts Manager to join our Transport Team a vital role responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of transport-related contracts across our city.

We need someone with: A tertiary qualification in engineering, or similar experience Strong experience in contract and procurement management, ideally in transport or civil works. Excellent knowledge of procurement strategies and contract legislation. A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong working relationships across technical and operational teams.
