Your role What you'll be doing What We Need Corpay is currently seeking an experienced Credit Collections Officer to join our team . Sitting within the Credit Control and Collections division of our Ellerslie office, you will play a pivotal role in liaising with our valued customers across Australasia, delivering excellent customer service, and finding the best solutions for them. Work hours are Monday to Friday from 10:30am to 6:30pm. How We Work As a Credit Collections Officer, you will be expected to work in a hybrid office environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing: Assigned workspace in Ellerslie office Company-issued equipment Formal, hands-on training Role Responsibilities Reporting to the Credit Team Leader, youll be at the frontline making outbound calls to locate customers and investigate overdue accounts.

With a flexible approach, youll negotiate repayment plans and solutions to suit our customers circumstances. As a Credit Collections Officer, your responsibilities will include: Proactively reach out to customers with overdue accounts Negotiate, implement and monitor tailored payment solutions Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and payment plans Provide regular reports on the status of outstanding accounts and collection efforts Maintain a professional and empathetic approach when dealing with customers Contribute to the continuous improvement of the collections function Qualifications & Skills This opportunity will suit someone with a strong background in credit control or collections. You have exceptional customer service skills and genuinely care about helping others.

You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to always operate in a friendly and professional manner and can work independently if required. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is eager to learn with a great can-do attitude To be considered for this role, you must also have the following skills and experience: 3 years Credit Control or Collections in a commercial environment Experience in a collection or contact centre environment, particularly supporting customers in financial difficulty Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and navigate challenging conversations A solutions-focused approach and the ability to make informed decisions to resolve a customers financial situation Intermediate Excel working knowledge Familiarity with both New Zealand and Australian customers and respective credit Our Company & Purpose Corpay is a global leader in business payments, laser focused on developing smarter ways for businesses to pay their expenses.
