About the role As part of the team, youll be at the forefront of using advanced data tools to revolutionize how we work. From automating data collection to real-time information processing, youll help with the transition to rapid, informed and risk aware decision making. Data scientists possess a broad range of skills, but what is crucial for this role is a software engineering and research mindset along with numerical and statistical proficiency.
This role offers the chance to development and implement data models that streamline processes; collaborate across teams to shape a sustainable, data-driven energy future; leverage your data background and skills to contribute to our long-term visions for a reliable and sustainable network. While our preference is to base this role in New Plymouth or Wellington, where most of the team and key stakeholders are located, for exceptional candidates, were open to flexibility across our other sites in Tauranga or Palmerston North. For the absolute right candidate, we would consider remote working.
