The role We're on the lookout for a dedicated individual to provide top-notch support and guidance to our dynamic teams. As our Delivery Manager Western Logistics, you'll effectively oversee, manage and improve the warehousing and logistics operation across three of our key depots. This will be an onsite role based at our new depot in Palmerston North, with travel required between our Masterton and New Plymouth depots.

The key responsibility for this position includes but are not limited to: - Leadership above all, our Delivery Manager must inspire and motivate their teams in what is often a fast-paced and demanding environment. - Drive efficiency, improve KPIs, and maintain high standards of inventory accuracy, quality, safety, and service. - Technical proficiency competence in using a JDE operating system, along with tools like Excel and powerBi is essential for maintaining and reporting on accurate inventory levels.

- Problem solving strong problem-solving skills are critical for managing the complexities and challenges that arise, understanding of continuous improvement processes like six sigma. - Planning and organisational skills crucial for managing daily workflows and resources effectively across the sites, whilst adapting swiftly when unexpected issues arise. - Communication effective communication is key to coordinating with team members, managing workflow, and engaging both internal and external stakeholders.

- Proven team engagement, people leadership, coaching, and communication skills. - Solid understanding of warehouse systems and best practices. - Experience with JDE, PowerBi, RFGen, excel.
