Job Overview We are seeking a Junior Desktop Network Support Engineer for a freelance or contract position.
This role is based in multiple locations, including Dunedin, Invercargill, Christchurch, Wellington, Napier, Auckland, and Hamilton. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in managing and troubleshooting desktops and network issues, contributing to seamless IT infrastructure performance. Qualifications and Skills Strong understanding and experience in imaging systems to ensure efficient setup and deployment of software for end-users.
Proficient in troubleshooting various IT-related issues efficiently to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. Experience with Active Directory for maintaining secure and well-functioning user account operations. Ability to manage desktop support tasks, ensuring all user systems are running optimally and efficiently.
Skilled in asset management to maintain accurate records and management of IT resources. Proficiency in SCCM for software deployment and computer management across various sites. Competence in Windows administration for installing, updating, and ensuring the security of Windows-based systems.
Strong experience in network troubleshooting, capable of resolving issues to maintain good network performance. Roles and Responsibilities Provide desktop and network support across multiple locations to ensure seamless IT operations. Engage in imaging and deployment processes to equip users with up-to-date systems and applications.
Utilize Active Directory for user account administration and security management. Implement and manage SCCM for software deployments and updates. Conduct regular asset management audits to ensure accurate IT resource records.
