Due to the ever-increasing level of technology and the growing number of technicians in our workshops we are looking for a Diagnostic Technician in Manukau to support their teammates by upholding the core values that Keith Andrews Trucks believes in.

To be successful in the position of Diagnostic Technician you must have: Min 3 years' experience as a qualified heavy duty vehicle mechanic A minimum Class 4 driver license Be a Certified Diagnostic Technician from Mercedes-Benz, Fuso or Freightliner or be on the pathway to being Certified Understand and actively participate in the transfer of your knowledge Display an understanding of diagnostic strategies and apply this to every job Be able to work with direction but also make decisions when left alone Be effective in time management and prioritising tasks Be a leader in the workshop environment Monday - Friday with a rostered Saturday To achieve your goal of diagnostic excellence your tasks will involve: Being available to efficiently approach jobs as they come to the workshop or out in the field, (longer rebuilds and repairs will not be for you) Confirm within 2 hours of the vehicle arriving at the workshop a repair procedure Communicate with internal staff with a high level of competency Clearly communicate what has failed, what is the cause of the failure and how it will be prevented from happening again Increase our fixed first visit rate Undertake repair and maintenance tasks as required Maintain a minimum of 85% productivity Be a part of our success story Apply Now and drive your career forward with Keith Andrew Trucks.
