About the job: Were looking for an experienced Drainage Serviceperson to join our team of everyday heroes in Auckland The role involves actively maintaining drainage networks on a reactive or scheduled basis to contract specifications. This may include checks on grills and manholes, operating the high-pressure cleaner, recording CCTV footage of drainage pipes and flushing, maintenance, repairs and installations of drainage pipes. What youll need: We are looking for someone with at least 2 years experience in a similar position in the Water Industry.
Ideally you will be a registered Drainlayer or have your National Certificate in Water Reticulation Level 4 (Wastewater). You will need to be physically fit, health and safety focused, and work well in a team as well as independently. A full class 1 licence is essential to be successful in this role, class 2 advantageous.
We are looking for a motivated individual, there are development and training opportunities available for the right person All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employers satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing. Please note, most of our team will be taking a break from 20 December 2024, returning 6 January 2025 - candidates may not be contacted until we return.
