Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to: Coordinate administration duties for Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Risk at the site level Manage the site's ACC account and ensure compliance with relevant regulations Ensure site compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including conducting surveys, risk assessments, and implementing corrective actions Coordinate and maintain site documentation, including notice boards, policy documents, and monthly reporting Facilitate EHS training, meetings, and audits, including internal and external compliance training Coordinate and conduct internal and external audits, including housekeeping, compliance audits, and environmental assessments Develop and implement corrective action plans resulting from audits and assessments Manage hazard registers, risk assessments, and investigations, and implement corrective actions Maintain EHS databases and research matters related to EHS improvements. Lead and coach system initiatives across the site Support changes and objectives of the department and perform other duties as required by the Site EHS Manager About you: Champion a positive EHS culture and awareness across the site Can review and interpret statistical information, presenting it in a user-friendly format to inform performance reviews Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the confidence to deliver presentations and training to staff at all levels Be flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work varied hours to support shift work and respond to customer needs Understand the importance of confidentiality and maintain discretion in your work Have basic knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory obligations Have previous experience in a manufacturing environment, office environment, with any relevant EHS / NZQA qualifications (desirable) Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access Datab.
