SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team and support the successful delivery of a solar construction project in Te Aroha, Waikato Region, New Zealand. The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for providing leadership and direction across all electrical construction activities on-site, working closely with the Construction Management Team to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality project execution. This role involves planning, supervising, and managing section resources to meet construction schedules, budgetary targets, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring full compliance with contract specifications and industry standards.

The Electrical Supervisor will also be accountable for maintaining a safe work environment and leading teams of electricians to achieve operational excellence throughout all phases of the project. THE ROLE Ensure all electrical work complies with New Zealand legislation, standards and codes, including AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules and local regulatory requirements Supervise and mentor a team of electricians, upholding the highest standards in safety, workmanship, and efficiency Coordinate end-to-end project delivery from planning to completion managing scope, timeframes, resources, and budgets Stay up-to-date with evolving electrical technology and industry best practices to support innovation and smart decision-making Enforce robust health and safety practices, risk assessments, and permits to ensure a safe, incident-free environment Identify training needs, lead toolbox talks, and develop the capabilities of your team to maintain top-tier performance Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure clear coordination and project satisfaction Maintain accurate records including compliance certificates, test reports, job documentation, and maintenance logs Champion process improvements that boost productivity, reduce costs, and support environmental sustainability Lead responses to electrical emergencies such as faults or outages, ensuring quick resolution and proper incident reporting Proactively stop any unsafe practices to protect yourself and othe.
